This edition SIC08 reproduces the dialogue between the architecture studios SOL89, run by María González and Juanjo López de la Cruz, and Israel Alba, within the series “Intramuros. Encuentros sobre Arquitectura Española”. Its objective is to speak about the way of understanding architecture, its determining factors, its interaction with the landscape and the society, its teaching and its construction. This round table took place on October 9th 2023 under the title: “At both sides of the wall”, leading to a simple, natural and profound conversation between the participants, which has been worthy of its printed edition as a testimony of the good deeds in architecture.

Our football stadium “El Plantío”, First Prize COAM Awards 2020, is part of the book “50 years COAM Awards”, published by Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid on the occasion of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of its awards. This catalogue gathers the 50 awarded buildings along the existence of these Awards, built between 1971 and 2021, as a reflect of the evolution in architecture by the end of the XX century and the beggining of the XXI.

Israel Alba has recently been selected as a jury of the “Exposición Arquitectura Reciente de Valencia 2017-2018-2019″, organized by the Colegio Territorial de Arquitectos de Valencia. Ana Ábalos Ramos, Fran Silvestre, Ivan Cabrera i Fausto and Inés García Clariana have also participated as members of the jury, as well as the members of the CTAV Governing Board: Marina Sender Contell (President), Isabel Navarro Camallonga (Treasurer) and Carlos Salazar Fraile (Vocal of Culture).

The purpose of this is to publicize the professional quality of the latest projects carried out in the province of Valencia, through an exhibition and a catalog.
